At the end of September Greyhound Friends of NC asked me for some ideas on how they might increase their shopping cart sales. I didn't have to think very long about it because it's something that I've read many articles about and have always wanted to see it in action for myself. So I suggested that they offer free shipping for a set period of time.

They agreed and we launched the "Free Fall Shipping" campaign. In a word it was successful. Compared to the year before, GFNC was able to increase their online shopping cart sales by 255%.

I was happy and the GFNC board was happy. They decided to offer free shipping again during the Christmas season which began on November 27th and will run through Christmas Eve. This time around however, they have placed a minimum of $25 to qualify for free shipping. So far, the numbers are encouraging, let's hope the trend continues.
